Online Public Platforms like Quora allows people to talk their heart out in form of answers, so many years of evolution made Quora a very serious and mature platform where people outspread their emotions, mostly very sincerely.
One basic theme of answers at Quora is - Love and Relationships where people talks about their confusions, hurt and joys related to falling in love. Within this theme, i found another theme that shook me- There are so many people out their thinking people fake love and are selfish deep within and leave when great time passes. People show their own wounds and such answers gets thousands of upvotes!
Are we selfish? Is the society working under a secret code called - Profit/loss. No? Then..
Why are relationships getting so meaningless in search of a partner who is resourceful?
Why do we even have a word called success bees?
Why are Parents throwing their own kids to depression when they score less or starts a love affair at 18?
Why do we feel superior when we have money?
Why do we leave our people when they present a chance of being a liability on us - including parents, life-partners and sometimes our own kid born out of some disability?
Show some humanity but whats humanity? Its being human and mind you, a human is both good and evil! While we live in a society which tries to talk sense and condemns anything thats slight evil, we all are and show characteristics of being evilish many times in our lives! And we are selfish...
and now i will say something that shook me at first and now will shake you if you trust me...
Parents - Father and Mother are too selfish and even this relationship has got its selfishness, we have common bloods or we know each other for long doesnt mean we cant have any selfishness and if you doubt...
Brother to Brother fights are so common in India based on Properties and parents often are biased towards one kid or another.
Fathers beat their kids... to vent out their frustations, because the kid did something that embarrased them, the kid decide on a career which parents think he wont be able to succeed in.
Honour killing? Female Foeticide? Infinite cases of dowry? these mark some extreme cases of same thinking...
Who is right? Being human we cant say we are borne to be right or wrong because right/wrong are mere rules set by some superior thinking. We obey it or not depends upon who we are?
The solution is- To hear what you inner voice says. If you feel you are right, convince yourself and hear none, not even parents coz they are humans and hence have equal chances to be wrong. However for profit/loss, here is a last message-
"There is a great pleasure in keeping things to ourselves, to see our profit and feel happy about it but realize that hunger for such pleasure is infinite and satiating a smaller one only gives rise to greater demands keeping us in a spiral trap, however even one deed of illogical SHARING with someone stirs a quietness within us that calms each nerve in us making us hear that last sound within us that says - All our life we feel we know whats our interest, we can be wrong and can spend our whole life chasing something that will only hurt us when we catch it. So you can choose to chase the temporary high that you achieve when you capture something or you can have that sweet feeling that stays and comes back everytime you think of it by being reason of a smile! "
Ironically, the more we share is the more successful we get, so businesses are wealthy, idea behind it is to share. You might not be a businessman, you are a human and you deserve to grow, so share!
