Its the season of Apple, not the fruit but the company! Apple and Apple's Vision is successful and a peice of model of Making a way in the world on the basis of ones principle without compromising! There are so many lessons i learnt and applied, i will share those with you -
1. Trust yourself with Right and Wrong -
Theres something inside us that constantly repeats whats right and wrong according to our beliefs. The belief is based on conviction and intuition, something that we feel is great enough! Many learn early to supress that conviction but reigniting it and letting it blossom in decision making pays off... in the longer run, this blog started on the basis of one such feeling and however slow only i know how much a matter of satisfaction it remains for me! I smile thinking about my blog and love browsing back on the facebook page, the voice says - Well done man, you arent lying and its a class act!
2. Work Hard to escalate Standards -
BIW means Best in the World, how does it feel to be treated as BIW and how much you deserve as BIW? Is it for someone else to decide that we are a World Class act, no, its for us to decide that we are the best and we deserve the best before anything else! You have to surround yourself with such symbols that screams you are a world class act and then you need to take decisions to align to be world best. The work you do, the place you live and what not should involve a constant urge to improve and be the best in the business!
3. Worlds full of Junk, choose with care -
Go to the internet and you can spend so much time just reading any unsorted random stuff. You can watch any movie, video, hear any song and have the company of any people but its the choice of premium people to be so, they choose what deserves them more than the others. Not everything arounf the corner is meant for them and so not they do not end up watching hundreds of episodes of friends or suits just coz mates are recommending. Trying things is awesome but indulging in hundred of random thing is bad while going by your intuition to know what fits better to you will pay off, coz out of a lot of 100, you will try 5 and most probably take only one to its perfect end!
4. Taste makes all the difference -
Whats your taste like? Do you like clunky softwares or black box pcs? Do you like local grocery bun or Mcdonals? Pappu ka Pizza or Dominos? 200 wala gym or 1500 month wala? Printing ebook or fighting hard to get a Hardcover from overseas? Reading and commenting on memes or staying up late to watch Big Tech Keynotes? Ultimately it comes down to taste...
We as species are striding forward at an exponential rate now and its easy to lose track of direction but ask yourself what do you want your species to be known for? Mediocrity or Class-Acts? Apple accuses Microsoft of making third class pedestrian products despite of persistent efforts in improving technology! Innovation in technology is so important but so is doing it with chivalry and taste.
5. Science is nothing without humanities -
Copycat companies have now started ad campaigns about life and values blindly as a result of some success with that with apple. Most of that is going unnoticed. They missed the point? Copying someone is so unintuitive. And intuition lies in being real and stading at the juxtaposition of technology and creativity. Both of these things seemed so odd in a sentence together anywhere else but since you know i bring apple into almost everything, you will realize they were almost the first one in computers to be able to do that. Look at cars for other industries? Its a product but is so amazingly related with class, looks and style. Nike and their shoes? And all of the famous retail brands across the world, they have best in the world to offer and not just they are good with the material but also seems to push the human race forward by innovating even if its a shoe, they make their contributions, look for creative efforts in what you do!
